My Background

Personal Summary

I graduated in Logistics Management and continue to learn, research, and write as I work toward an academic career. My main interests are supply chain management, logistics planning, and operations management. I believe that one of the best ways to truly understand a complex topic is to explain it in a simple way. That's why I see this website as both my personal learning journal and a platform where I can share what I learn with others.

My Education

I graduated first in my department from the Logistics Management program at Turkish Aeronautical Association University, where I studied entirely in English on a 100% Merit Scholarship. During my undergraduate studies, I built a solid theoretical foundation in supply chain management, logistics planning, and operations management. Through the courses I shared with the Industrial Engineering program, I also developed an analytical and optimization-oriented approach to logistics processes.

My Volunteer Experience

ODI - Campus Representative

I served as a campus representative for ODI, a social initiative that provides free meals to students through the "Suspended Meal" program. As part of this project, I helped organize campus events, coordinated communication between students and local businesses, and actively participated in awareness campaigns to support the initiative.

My Goals

My Short-Term Goals

My short-term goal is to begin my master's studies and build a strong foundation for an academic career. During this process, I aim to improve my research skills, make better use of international academic resources, and continue reading and writing regularly in the fields that interest me. Through this blog, I also hope to strengthen both my writing skills and my analytical way of thinking by sharing what I learn.

My Long-Term Goals

In the long term, I would like to complete my PhD and become an academic conducting research in supply chain management and logistics. I believe that continuously learning, asking questions, and always being open to self-improvement are among the most important qualities of a good researcher. My goal is to contribute to the academic literature through scientific research while producing studies that connect theory with real-world industry needs.

Why I Created This Website

My goal in creating this website was not to showcase what I already know, but to make my learning process more effective. I believe that one of the best ways to truly understand a topic is to explain it to someone else. That's why I write about the articles I read, the concepts I learn, and the ideas I explore. By doing so, I create lasting notes for myself while sharing them with others who enjoy learning. Technology

I enjoy exploring open-source software and emerging technologies. I keep up with the latest developments by regularly listening to technology podcasts and following industry newsletters. Rather than simply reading about new technologies, I enjoy experimenting with them, understanding how they work, and finding ways to use them in my daily life.

Reading

I regularly read books, especially in science fiction, history, and popular science. For me, reading is not only a way to gain knowledge but also an opportunity to discover new perspectives and improve my way of thinking.

Science

Besides technology, I have a strong interest in scientific developments and academic research. Following scientific articles and discussions helps me better understand research methods and approach problems from a more analytical perspective.

Active Life

I consider regular exercise an important part of my daily life. I believe that staying physically active supports mental focus and productivity, so I do my best to maintain my workout routine even during busy periods.
